Bailiff @ 1st Ward

Tonight, April 18th, Bailiff will celebrate the release of their long-awaited LP "Remise". The album will be officially released on the 22nd. The band has release two singles from the new album, "Shake My Heart Awake" and "Helicopter".

Mister Suit @ Empty Bottle

Mister Suit (aka Garrett Jones) had their daytrotter session released earlier this month. The session was recorded back in January and features the band's new single "Get It Right". The single should be released soon, and the band's April 23rd show is being billed as a release show for the single.

Fee Lion "Ah Control"

Fee Lion is the experimental and beautifully minimal work of Justina Kairyte. She recently released a video for her track "Ah Control" which appeared on her 2013 debut EP, "Raw".

Julie Meckler "Soul Love"

Julie Meckler is releasing a new video for her track "Soul Love". The David Bowie rework originally appeared on Julie's 2013 debut Queenshead. The video was created by Julie Meckler, J.J. Evans and Mechanism9.

Julie is celebrating the release on April 21st at The Charleston (2076 N. Hoyne).

Secret Colours "Into You"

Secret Colours have released a second single from their forthcoming ep Positive Distractions II. The new track is called "Into You", and it has a distinctive pop groove to it.

Positive Distractions II and the full LP, Postive Distractions will be released on April 29th. You can catch Secret Colours at Empty Bottle on April 23rd.

Movers&Shakers Event @ Fulton Street Collective

The booking and management company Movers&Shakers is putting on an event at Fulton Street Collective (2000 W. Fulton Ave) tomorrow night, April 11th, featuring a mix of art, music and free Goose Island.

The event will feature music from Sleepy Kitty, Zoo Brother, and Baltimore's Sun Club with art from local artists Mikey Thomas and Mitchell Reardon. Doors open at 8pm and there is suggested donation of $7.

Romantic Rebel @ Double Door

The aggressive rock band Romantic Rebel are about to release their self-titled debut album via Pavement Entertainment. The album is a thunderous assault filled with stadium anthems and blazing guitar solos including one from Brendon Small of Metalocalypse fame.

You can catch Romantic Rebel at Double Door on April 18th in support of Last Vegas.
