Hnry Flwr drops new video for "As Above, So Below"

Hnry Flwr is back with a new video for his track "As Above, So Below." With his signature spidery makeup framing his poker-face vocal delivery, Hnry Flwr traverses multiple outdoor landscapes before cutting to footage of deer, altars and other heavily allegorical imagery that the song's title may imply. The result is a dark, challenging clip that's well worth multiple watches. Check out the video streaming below.-Olivia Sisinni

Jean Daddy - "Let's Ride Boys!"

Toronto’s rock n’ roll enigma Jean Daddy have released a brand new record. They are one of the more unique bands in the area right now with their most recent release prior to this record being a comic book. They are known for their charisma on stage and these fellas can really bring it. As Jean Daddy says they “put the rock in raucous.” Very accurate statement with their dirty garage guitars, driving rhythms and frantic vocals. Their release party goes down Friday November 24 at the Baby G along with Vypers and BBQ Pope. Let’s Ride Boys! – Kris Gies

Haunting new dream folk project Panteon drops video for "White Jaguar"

Panteon (aka Yvonne Ambree) writes soft, haunting indie folk tunes that  linger long after the music stops. Her new EP, Travel Log 1, (out January 19th) documents her world travels through music. In anticipation of the release, the Brooklyn-based artist has dropped a video for single "White Jaguar." The video showcases dream-like visuals that compliment the haziness of Panteon's music, and keeping in theme with the EP, the song was developed after a visit to Columbia's Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta--offering an impressionistic view of the indigenous KOGI peoples. Stream White Jaguar below, and check out Panteon at Rockwood Music Hall 1/28.-Olivia Sisinni

ZEBEDEE take their berserk garage rock to Pianos on 11/25

ZEBEDEE, the project of Australian transplant Zebedee Row, serves up crunchy, saxed-up garage rock that seems to dangerously flirt with the edge of madness. Their songs are rollicking romps through 70s-era rock 'n' roll, without ever feeling canned or over baked. Check out the band at Pianos 11/25 and stream them below.-Olivia Sisinni

New Track: "Strangled by Stars" - The Skating Party

Patetico Recordings recently released a charitable compilation, Rock Back: Stronger Than the Storm, aimed to support victims of Hurricane Harvey, Irma, and Maria. “Strangled By Stars,” the new single from The Skating Party, a.k.a. Gregory James, is one of 50 songs included on the collection. Reverberating guitar provides an electrical storm to the head that lingers in a cloudy daydream haze, while the ascending vocals demonstrate a hopeful resilience.
