Known for their songwriting and vocal prowess, Boston founded Aloud made the move to LA in 2017 where they've been carving their name into the local scene. Led by vocalists/guitarists Jen de la Osa and Henry Beguiristain, the group is rounded out by bassist Charles Murphy and drummer Chris Jago. According to the director Melissa-Miller Costanzo, Aloud’s song was one of her early picks for the film and with help of music supervisor Charles Newman, it was cut in across a few scenes to create the perfect fit.. The soundtrack album is being released on Brooklyn’s Mother West label on January 18th, the same day the film becomes available on demand.

Honesty is rooted at the core of Aloud's "Falling Out of Love." It's a tough acknowledgment that lead singer Jen De La Osa admits as she describes a relationship that has reached its limit, and tolerance is a hard act to accomplish. De La Osa, accompanied by other main member and spouse Henry Beguiristain, tells this simple, yet devastating tale over a passionate musical interplay that's rooted in a '60s notion of blues and soul. Their measured groove gradually intensifies with a fiery passion as it leads into the song's towering chorus, where they give a new spin to a timeless rock sound in a boldly exhilarating way.

"Falling Out of Love" is the A-side to a split 7," which was just released on Valentine's Day. The band will bring their 6 piece complete with a horn section to the Hotel Café tonight. Here's the video for the track below. Juan Rodríguez

 In an effort to help combat the ongoing water crisis in Flint, MI, Boston-based alt/soul-rockers Aloud have teamed up with Kendra Jones of Brooklyn's Cold Blood Club to lend a helping hand through their new single "Agua Mala".  Frustrated with the three year, man-made disaster that has rocked a community and taken away a basic human commodity, this collaboration gives listeners a way to give much needed support to the people of Flint.  All proceeds from downloads of "Agua Mala" will go directly to the Flint Water Fund set up by The United Way of Genesee County. -Brian Varneke

Have you ever found yourself wondering what it would be like to fall into the world of the music videos you’ve watched? Well Boston’s rock'n'soul band Aloud is attempting to do just that with “Falling Out of Love: The Virtual Reality Experience.” By creating a video using virtual reality technology, the band will immerse you into their tracks' journey of love and heartbreak when a long term relationship ends. The song, with slinking guitars, sensual saxophones, and Jen de la Osa’s smooth vocals, slowly builds to a climax before exhausting itself to an end–much like most relationships do. To support their virtual reality endeavor they have announced a headlining tour in three major cities, including their home base–Boston. Catch them May 5 and Hojoko @ The Verb Hotel for a VR demonstration and an intimate acoustic performance.
