Young Man in a Hurry "Stranded"

Young Man in a Hurry recently released a new single called "Stranded". According to Baron, "the riff & lyrics were written in the earliest days of the pandemic".

This single features Matt Baron (vocals and guitar), Meyer Horn (drums), Teddy Rankin-Parker (cello), David Vandervelde (drum machine and guitar), Sebastian Steinberg (bass), Macie Stewart (violin), Emma Hospelhorn (flute and vocals), and Rod Sherwood (vocals).

Young Man In A Hurry "potable water system emoji"

Over the last three months Young Man In A Hurry have released a series of experimental, instrumental singles that pull their title's from emojis. The mysterious singles all feature several highly talented local musicians including Macie Stewart, Ben LaMar Gay, Tim Daisy, Emma Hospelhorn, and David Vandervelde.

It is unclear as to how many more songs the band plan to release from this clearly epic recording session.

The latest single in the series was released on May 5th and is called "potable water system emoji"

Young Man In A Hurry "Check Ur PH"

Young Man In A Hurry has released the first single, "Check Ur PH", from their forthcoming sophomore album, Other People, which is due out on February 11th.

This is the work of Matt Baron (vox/guitar), Nick Harris (bass), Meyer Horn (drums), and David Taylor (guitar). For this single they are joined by Tselanie Townsend on backing vocals and David Vandervelde on guitar.

You can help Young Man In A Hurry celebrate the release of the album at Schubas on February 10th with Otherpeace.

Young Man In A Hurry has released a new single called "Harlem Nights". This track is perfect for a brisk autumn night and features guest appearances from Whitney Johnson (Matchess) on vocals, viola, and effects and David Vandervelde (Father John Misty) on guitar.

Young Man In A Hurry "Land of the Lost"

Young Man In A Hurry has released a new single and video called "Land of the Lost". The single was written while the group was on tour in Florida and the video was filmed in Los Angeles. Lyrically the track focuses on the desire to want time to stand still for a period of time while you find yourself in moment you have always wanted.
